3 years ago today I gave up my smoking habit of about 2o on and off again years.
I was thinking before about how much time was wasted by smoking. Gathering supplies and heading outside for a smoke. Now when I look back I am surprised I had that much time to spare ....
The best part of quitting smoking was picking up the beading tools and creating, creating and creating.

Where did 2011 go

Already the last week of 2011.
A year filled with highs and lows with many successes.

My daughter turned 13 - Welcome to teenage hood. I can feel this as being fun and excitement.

My youngest successfully danced her Island Dance and finished Primary School years.

Wonder what next year will bring .....

Winter in our wonderland

While New Zealand is experiencing snow in the most weirdest places, down town Auckland, Gisborne has been unscathed. We have sprinkles on the hills but none inland. So while I am wrapped up to fight off this flu, I am looking outside to the blue skies and sun and thinking - nope, we are not going any snow here. I am Gisborne is just too hot :D
